I am an investigative journalist based in London who specialises in writing about business and property. As a senior business journalist at the BBC, I write and present breaking news, analysis, features, and exclusives both for online and radio. On editor shifts, I am responsible for the desk’s online output, commissioning and editing stories as well as liaising with reporters and correspondents across time zones.

Between 2022 and 2024, I was Investors’ Chronicle’s property reporter, where wrote features, news analysis and opinion columns for Investors' Chronicle’s property beat. During my time in this role, I wrote a feature on the UK warehouse bubble two weeks before that market deflated and broke the news of the ethical and financial issues of Home Reit’s business model three months before it became international news.

I am the former news editor of Property Week, the PPA Business Magazine Brand of the Year 2020, where I worked for four years. Before I was news editor, I was chief investigative reporter at Property Week — producing investigative pieces on the fire safety of modular construction, local authority tax avoidance and unspent developer contributions. Before that, I was market reports editor at Property Week. There, I was responsible for a section of the magazine which produced five supplements — including three 60-page supplements — during my time in the role. Prior to that, I was legal and professional reporter for three years, in which I specialised in writing about the legal, regulatory and political issues that affect the commercial property industry.

From May 2015 to April 2018, I worked at digital marketing and PR agency Exposure Ninja as a content marketer and editor. During my time there, I ghostwrote and edited articles and comment for the Telegraph, Yahoo News, DigiDay, VentureBeat and several other publications on behalf of a wide variety of clients. I also edited a book written by the chief executive and chief operating officer of Exposure Ninja titled ‘The Ultimate Guide to Content Marketing and Digital PR’.
